If you recently bought International Delight coffee creamer, you might want to check your fridge. Danone US, LLC has recalled over 75,000 bottles of its Hazelnut and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll coffee creamers after reports of premature spoilage and possible illness.

\The recall, which affects 31 states, was initiated on February 21, 2025, and has since been classified as a Class II recall by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)—meaning the products may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.

What Coffee Creamers Are Recalled?

The recall applies to two flavors of International Delight coffee creamer:

International Delight Cinnabon Coffee Creamer32 oz.July 3, 20250412710199351-4114 S

These products were distributed in 31 states, including Texas, Florida, New York, and California.

Why Were These Coffee Creamers Recalled?

According to Danone, the products spoiled prematurely, leading to a texture issue. The company issued the recall out of an abundance of caution, but the FDA report suggests there were also consumer complaints of spoilage and illness linked to these creamers.

This is not the first recall for International Delight. In October 2024, over 10,000 bottles of the brand’s Home Alone Peppermint Mocha Zero Sugar coffee creamer were recalled due to a labeling issue—they were mistakenly labeled “zero sugar” despite containing sugar.

What Should You Do If You Have a Recalled Coffee Creamer?

If you have one of the affected coffee creamers, here’s what you should do:

  • Stop using it immediately.
  • Return it to the store for a refund or replacement.
  • Contact International Delight Consumer Care at 1-800-441-3321 with any questions.

Danone and the FDA urge consumers to take this recall seriously—even though it’s not a Class I recall (which indicates a more severe health risk), spoiled food can still cause digestive issues and illness.

A Growing Concern for Coffee Creamer Recalls?

With two recalls in just a few months, some consumers may be wondering: Are coffee creamers safe?

While most coffee creamers are highly processed dairy or non-dairy products, unexpected issues like spoilage, contamination, or labeling errors can occur.

For now, the best approach is simple—check your labels, store coffee creamers properly, and report any unusual texture, smell, or taste to the manufacturer.
